Clement C. Moore’s classic The Night Before Christmas has been republished as a board book for chubby little baby hands to enjoy holding!
“Whizzy Santa: A Book on Wheels About Santa on a Scooter at Christmas” looks a little.. erm.. silly.
“Peek-A-Boo Santa” is a shape book as well as a board book. It’s part of a series by Charles Reasoner.
“Peek-A-Boo Reindeer” is another book in the series.
“Peek-A-Boo Elves” is really tempting me, because books about Christmas elves don’t come out very often. I like unusual books for my children’s book collection.
“Peek-A-Boo Snowman” is another Charles Reasoner holiday shape book.
I think babies would find it really intriguing to hold and feel the edges of the board book pages in Eight Jolly Reindeer. Plus, the artwork looks adorable.
Here’s the board book version of the Christmas song, “Up on the Housetop.” I just learned from reading the book description, that this song was the first, way back in 1864, the first to mention Santa landing on people’s rooftops.
“O Christmas Tree” is another board book based on an old song.
I like tabbed board books, and it’s a bonus that Merry Christmas is also a Touch and Feel book.
“Little Reindeer” is part of the Mini People series of books. This one is illustrated by L. Rigo.
The illustrator for “Little Snowman” is Giovanni Caviezel.
“Little Gingerbread Man” is my favorite in the series!
