Sadly, or happily for some, the Frozen train seems to be on its way out. I still can’t let it go! That’s the only pun in this post, I swear! I thought the animation was so gorgeous and I’m a huge fan of Hans Christian Andersen’s works, it just makes me sad that it’s going to go away. So, for Frozen’s last hurrah, I decided I would show you guys some really cute Frozen themed figurines from Department 56!
The Frozen Wandering Oaken Trading Post Lit House was where Anna and Kristoff end up meeting. Too bad this doesn’t come with the obvious Sauna they advertised for. The dimensions for this cool piece are 5.3 x 7.4 x 9 inches. It weighs 5 pounds.
You can’t have the Wandering Oaken Trading Post (and Sauna) without Frozen’s “Yoo-Hoo!” Oaken.
The Oaken figure is about 5 x 2.5 x 3.8 inches. He stands happily waiting for the next crazy customer to walk through the door in the middle of a nightmare of a blizzard. Maybe that customer could be Kristoff or Anna?
First off, I really love Kristoff. This figurine is very cute. He has his guitar out and is singing to his buddy Sven! The figure is 4 x 2.8 x 4.8 inches and is about 5 ounces.
These two goofs would be perfect with Anna by their side! Anna is about 5 x 2.5 x 3.8 inches and 2.4 ounces. I can just see the whole scene put together with the Trading Post, Oaken, Anna, Sven, and Kristoff.
Though the whole scene would be incomplete without Elsa and Olaf, that’s why I saved them for last.
This beautiful Elsa figurine is about 5 x 2.5 x 3.8 inches. It shows her with her famous pose creating a frozen flower from her hands. My favorite part is that they seem to have painted her face almost precisely to her look in the movie! Lastly, almost everyone’s favorite character Olaf. Even though the whole picture I am trying to set is wintery, I think this Olaf design is my favorite out of the others by Department 56. This Olaf figurine is 5 x 2.5 x 3.8 inches.
I can’t help but gawk at this gorgeous Frozen Ice Palace. The colors are vibrant even after it looks like it has been dusted by a little snow. It’s a fairly large accessory, measuring about 5 x 2.5 x 3.8 inches and weighing 6 pounds. I still think it takes the cake!
