Christmas Crafting with Origami

This year is going to be unique for most of us, so finding some indoor activities will be vital! One of my favorite past times is doing origami. I may not be the best at it, but with this incredible Paper Christmas book (via Amazon; affiliate link) I will be a pro!

I am grateful that the beginning of this crafty book supplies us with tips and tricks for successful origami pieces. There is a nice breakdown of what kind of supplies you will need, aside from origami paper itself! It looks like they even explain different kinds of paper to use for each project!

If you look beyond the introduction you will find the various projects provided in the book. Wouldn’t it be great to create your own advent house? I think it would be really sweet to add little origami gifts in my friends’ presents this year. Perhaps you can use it as the card itself and hang it from the gift bag like an ornament. What I like most about the projects is that no one would even know I was an amateur at origami. The thought of being able to create a whole origami Christmas wreath is fantastic!

I cannot wait to try these out with my niece and cousins when we get the chance. This would even be a fun Christmas even project to do with your significant other while watching Christmas movies and sipping hot cocoa. Making origami is bound to become a yearly tradition in my house, thanks to the Paper Christmas book!
